Investigating the relationship between Internet addiction and mental security with psychological well-being of students in multi-grade and integrated classes

Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between Internet addiction and psychological security with psychological well-being of students in multi-grade and integrated classes. In this research, descriptive-survey method has been used. The statistical population of the study included male and female high school students in Sari, who were employed in the academic year 1399-1400 and numbered 1520 people. In this study, based on Krejcie and Morgan table, 307 students were selected as a sample group through simple random sampling method. To collect the required data in this research, the standard Internet addiction questionnaire, mental security questionnaire, psychological well-being questionnaire and a researcher-made questionnaire were used in multi-grade and integrated classes. Its content validity was calculated based on the opinion of management experts and their reliability was calculated and confirmed in the present study using Cronbach's alpha test. . In the descriptive part, statistical characteristics and in the inferential part, the test (K-S) was used to normalize the data distribution, and regression analysis was used. The results showed that Internet addiction and psychological security have a positive and significant relationship with students 'psychological well-being, so that a large part of students' psychological well-being is explained by Internet addiction and psychological security. Natabaj also showed that participating in multi-grade and integrated classes has a significant effect on students' psychological well-being. So that multi-grade and integrated classes are effective in increasing students' psychological well-being.
